Black Mountain

Known as “The Front Porch of Western Carolina”, Black Mountain overflows with antique shops, art and craft galleries, boutiques and eateries. For a taste of the Town’s scenery take a stroll around Tomahawk Lake or nearby Montreat. The downtown public golf course boasts one of the longest public holes of golf in the world with 747 yards at par 6. Black Mounatin is a family oriented environment with small town friendliness, tranquil mountain atmosphere and mild climate. Minutes from a beautiful scenic drive through the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Asheville
This city and surrounding area named the "#1 Best Place to relocate or buy a Vacation Home" (Money & Finance April 2007 and May 2007). With the unlimited resources for recreation and outdoor excitement, Outside Magazine rated Asheville "the #1 Whitewater Town in the country" in their August 2006 issue.
Theater and The Arts abound along with a thriving, bustling city night life. Fine cuisines as well as sidewalk café’s dot the streets. Lake Lure
Relax on the white sandy beaches surrounded by the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This crystal blue basin rambling over 720 miles, has been called by, “National Geographic Magazine” one of the most beautiful manmade lakes in the world. On its shore since 1927 is The Lake Lure Inn and Spa, a North Carolinas original landmark. Its grand history includes Presidential visits and elaborate weddings.“Larkin’s on the Lake” is a favorite lunch/dinner cruise destination or you can rent a boat at the fully equipped marina.
Chimney Rock
Any time of the year it is serenity with nature when hiking the Chimney Rock River Walk. Cascading waterfalls leading to the 2280 ft elevation while taking in the stunning 75 mile panoramic view is a day to remember. |
